Right after dinner this evening, I spotted some hogs just beyond the house pasture fence. The bride promptly grabbed her .270, stepped out onto our bedroom porch and drove a slug through the engine room of this big gal from 140 yards. So it turns out that I lied about the distance of her shot. I got to thinking about it today and drug out my rangefinder to confirm...
I'd remembered correctly that it's 140 yards to the feeder. FROM THE SOUTH END OF THE HOUSE.
From where she actually took her shot: 167 yards.
Her nickname is "She-Wolf"...and she's Hell and Death with her trusty .270!
