Thursday nights were rough on me. Grandpa (king of the house) watched Hee Haw. Oh no, the worst Saturday night punishment was having to tolerate the TV being tuned to the Lawrence Welk Show. And a 1, and a 2, and a 3. Everybody Polka!

My dad wasn't much for TV, but I do remember watching The Waltons as a family. Later in life he would grade papers while I watched TV, and as he put it, 'I don't watch TV, but I've seen 37 episodes of The Equalizer'.

Most of the shows I can remember have been listed. Few more I can think of are, Petty Coat Junction, Green Acres, Rifleman.
My Yote toys, Ruger 77 22-250 Foxpro 416B & numerous hand calls ************ God would never send Firefighters to Hell because we would put the fire out!

I also remember Charlie’s Angles and the Barbara Mandrell show. Irlene was the cute one... and she likes to shoot too.

Was the best show on tv till they pulled it. Did learn that if you had primer on the fenders or a mix matched color and had a pack of Newports you was probably going to jail. We called them meth mobils.

In no particular order... Happy Days, The Love Boat, Three's Company, The Facts of Life, One Day at A Time, Sanford and Son, All In The Family, then The Jeffersons, Chico and The Man, Fantasy Island (I think it came on after The Love Boat), Mork and Mindy, Sunday evening was a TV dinner watching Wild Kingdom then Walt Disney.

Carroll Burnett Show All in the Family Dallas Early SNL.
For us kids it was Sat Night Wrestling, Dukes of Hazard, and Rat Patrol.

2 sisters and 3 brothers led to conflicts. Girls liked their shows and boys different ones. The one exception was the 3 Stooges. For me it was Gunsmoke, Rawhide, Black Sheep Squadron, and anything with action.
