I need suggestions for lenders for raw land. It's only 11 acres. Location probably isn't that important, but it's just north of Edna. A good deal just came up for sale and I'm trying to make something happen quickly.

Capital Farm Credit is the best in the business, from my experience. Like Kevin said Capital farm credit. They are a co-op great people

Capital Farm Credit is the best in the business, from my experience. Like Kevin said Capital farm credit. They are a co-op great people Id go with this. We used them for our place. If you can get by with short term financing and have a good relationship with a local bank you may be able to do better. We ended up going with capital farm because i wanted to keep my payment as low as i could so went for a 30 year, they are pretty much the only game in town for longer term land loans. We will pay it off way before the 30 years, but i always borrow longer than i need if that makes sense.

I filled out the loan app online and that is what they responded with. I thought that was strange as they evidently have an office in Edna.

Lots of customer owned Ag Credit lenders in Texas that will be willing to work with you but you will most likely need at least 20% down.

I’ve used lone star ag credit on three deals now and they have been great. Walker daily out of the Paris office is awesome.
