We’ll be here a few days. Where is the good food of various types?

Stanley's for BBQ and Jucy's for a burger. Happy's Fish House has pretty good fried shrimp.

Some of our favorites are Mercado's Mexican, Stanley's BBQ and The Roost.

Juc Stanley's for BBQ and Jucy's for a burger. Happy's Fish House has pretty good fried shrimp. All of these are great. It’s a little bit of a drive East of Tyler, but I would add Country Tavern BBQ to the list. Best ribs I ever had.

^^^^^Forgot about Country Tavern. Like Erny says, it's worth the drive (it's not too far). The ribs are good and beer cold.

Had to go shopping today. Had lunch at Fuzzy’s Tacos. It was nothing special. Had BBQ at Bodachius yesterday. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t anything special.
Tyler traffic is pretty darn heavy. I sure wasn’t expecting that.

Stanley's and Jucy's for BBQ and burgers.
Bruno's for pizza.
For chain eateries I've never had a bad meal at Texas Roadhouse or Cotton Patch in Tyler.
Loggins used to have a great lunch buffet but not sure if it is currently operating the buffet.

Really great burgers, you won’t be disappointed! Love that place! Growing up my grandad took me every time I visited. Burgers and the beans are great.

Really great burgers, you won’t be disappointed! I highly recommend as well. They have fantastic pinto beans as well.

We left Tyler a day early, so I didn’t get to try any of the good places recommended. But we’ll be back in that area before too long.
