I bought a box of cases today at an auction. No use for them, but that cartridge is on a whole different level!! If anyone needs some cases, I'd be willing to sell....

I sold mine a few years back, it’s not for the faint of heart. I’ve been looking for another one so if you figure out a price on it shoot me a pm.

My buddy back in Alabama went through a “big bore” phase 40 years ago. He ended up with a beautiful Holland and Holland double. When he bought it it came with a box of factory loads. He took it to the range and believe me, he is the least recoil-sensitive person I’ve ever been around. He shot 10 rounds and he was bleeding out of both nostrils. He spent a while after that working up a handload...

I had a H&H and I assure you it would make you think real hard before pulling the trigger a second time, my love of big bores started when I was a teenager and I haven’t outgrown it yet. My problem now is I can’t handle the punishment they dish out like I could 20 years ago. My shoulder has paid the price for all the years of taking a beating though. I say everybody needs to shoot one at least once

Muzzle brakes are a wonderful thing. I can't even start to imagine the muzzle blast.... From what I've been reading, a 12-14lb rifle is the "right" weight for that cannon. I'd love to shoot one.

Post the cases for sale on the Accurate Reloading classifieds, if you want them to go quickly.

Muzzle brakes are a wonderful thing. Tell that to most African professional hunters and their trackers. But you'll need to say it loudly...most of them have significant hearing loss from the increased muzzle blast from them. They ARE wonderful bits of technology and have their place in the shooting world, but I won't have one on a rifle for Africa. Mark
