Those who use an electronic caller, do you run it continuously? On an intermittent basis? How?

Most time run continuously. There are certain situations that intermittent can be a benefit. Bobcats have short attention spans so don’t keep it off too long if you stop calling.

For predators, I do intermittently when I'm using prey distress. Usually like 7-10 minutes in a row with a few min in between. With coyote vocals I usually howl 10-30 seconds followed by several minutes of quiet. That and pup distress are amazing this time of year. Called one in 2 nights ago after 25 minutes. Last year we called one in right at an hour into the set (we didn't have anywhere else to hunt that night so were in no rush).
For pig calling, I usually dont stop the call just change sounds a few times
