Likewise, but now that I shave my head I need something on my face. I feel like skinner with the babyface otherwise. A mostly full goat is the best I can pull off (or a full on stache which doesn't fit me)

I have never had a beard, and only briefly had a mustache.

My wife saw a picture of me with a mustache when I was in college (1990s) and she said I looked exactly like Pancho Villa smile.

Not a fan of facial hair (Irritates my skin), but hey if you can pull it off, do it.

Just my .02,

After working the south side of Fort Worth for many years, I learned three things about folks owning things, as in that's their style, so stay away. Black guys "own" bright orange clothing, Hispanic guys "own" low-riders and gay guys "own" long beards. Perhaps it's a regional thing, but it ruined long beards for me.

I keep it short most of the time but I've had one for 9ish years, I'll never shave it off.

I have never had a long beard but have had many beards from way back. Start growing them October or November then usually shave them end of February or March before it gets to warm and itchy.

Spouse has shaved his once in 33 years of marriage.
Few years back I told him that maybe let it grow during hunting season and when spring hits you could trim it.
He has a big ,full gray beard now and will trim in about a month or so.
Really helps on his walk to work in below zero temps, about a 5 block walk everyday to work.
Summer time he keeps it trimmed close due to the heat.

I grew one. Never had a beard or mustache. I enjoyed not having to shave but it is a full beard now and becoming more of a burden than shaving. Eventually I will make my way to a barbershop and let them deal with it. I will probably shave it of before summer.

Have shaved 4-5 times since '77. Don't do the long stuff. I'm sure the facial skin underneath is like a new baby's since it has been in the shade all these years. Lost most of the hair so just keep it all on the same level. #2 in the driveway every week. No, not that #2.

Had one from about 1980 to 2005. Now I've just got the mustasche and chin pukes.

This is somewhere around 1998 - 2000.

Funny thread but I’ve let my hair grow out, it’s not been cut since early last year so I technically have a mullet clap
I thought I’d let it grow out and donate it to one of the Locks Of Love organization. They make wigs for kids with cancer, I thought it would be for a good cause and my wife would get some great laughs at my expense lol35

I did that once and donated it in the name of a friend's wife who died from breast cancer at 42. At the end (took almost 2 years), I told my wife I didn't give a S who dies....I'll never do that again. Long hair SUCKS to take care of and the tangles, I don't know how women deal with it. That's the privilege they should be bitching about us having lol35

Mine used to be pretty long and bushy but I trimmed it to keep from calling attention to myself.... [Linked Image]
