Hogs keep tearing down my feeder. 😡
I have reset it up 4 times now.
Strapped it to the pole. Last week they knocked the legs out from under it, then one hog was pulling the loose strap around and making the corn fall out.

This may be an option since you have the pole there. We bought three of these for an Arkansas lease that has a healthy population of bears. They were swatting down tripod feeders with no problem.

We went to One and Done and AllSeasons Stand and Fill and have had no issues. Neither are cheap solutions but they are all working and haven’t been molested by bear or hog.

If you have to stay with a tripod, it will have to be heavy pipe for legs and t post anchors.

Feeder pen is another option. Good Luck. JCO

Put a T-post on each leg or put up some hog panels so it is enclosed.

Feeder design.

The lower, wider stance feeders are more resistant.

If you think hogs are hard on feeders, you should see what Black Bears can do to one!

I had that same problem, but I started driving t-posts nest to each leg and wiring them together. It stopped the problem for me..

I have a tripod feeder that gets daily hog activity. I drove a T-post in next to each leg and secured them to the legs with cable ties. Never had a problem with it getting knocked over.

6 feeders. All with T Posts and no problems.

Take the legs home and weld or bolt the multi-piece legs together.
Drive a TPost by each leg parallel to the leg and tie the leg to the TPost with some strong wire - in at least 2 places but 3 is better.
Don't be afraid to drive the posts in the ground past the flat stabilizer plate.

The low center of gravity HB feeders are hard to topple over

T-post on each leg is the answer. A big pig will lean against the legs and topple it over. I put T-post after this and that same pig tried to push it over again and he could not.

Pigs are jerks. After the feeder is on the ground than they go about smashing it up.

LOL, they just go after it like a pig pipe...just trying to extract the corn.

Hah! Welcome to the Texas pig problem. Put together a tougher feeder, tee post each leg snd hope for the best. Or do some night hunting as shoot some of them for revenge.

This works if you're really mad at them. Dig a 4 foot hole and concrete the post in.
