Took a break from the river, ventured a lil' south to the House Pasture and caught Parker's show. We did help raise the average age of the crowd. Pecos on the Rooftop was first and wifeypoo liked their vibrant mix. They had some solid guitar play, that's for sure. Parker was standout, but just a lil' too traditional country for the Mrs. I grooved on him. Boys got some good stuff. He can croon. Although they do a very good job of not letting too many in for the venue, the place was sold out. Social distancing was not even a thought. Masks were seldom seen. At one point, the lead for Pecos said, something akin to "It's been a long tome since we've been able to come and party with friends on a Friday night. Isn't it nice." That elicited what might have been the loudest cheer of the night.

The Frio Music Fest in Concan. They literally fenced off some pasture and it was a go. More fun than we expected it to be. They had Kevin Fowler Thursday and Randy Rogers on Saturday. Wifeypoo couldn't believe they actually sold mixed drinks in addition to beer. A couple of food trucks for Bar BQ and pizza. From my point of view, the crowd was extremely well behaved and orderly. Lots of youngers. Oh my and well past due - midriffs (sp?), daisy dukes and Rockies look like they are back. Hallelujah! All in all, it was very enjoyable.
Could not get to the greased pigs at Neal's on Saturday afternoon. Thinking here we missed the boat on that one.

For reference For what it’s worth, I’d rather see Pecos and the Rooftops
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

I like Pecos and the Rooftops. Their drummer plays from time to time with a band called Tyler and the Tribe - one of my cousins is their drummer and the other plays guitar. Their lead singer is a big time public lands bow hunter and has a podcast/youtube channel - The Element.

'bout damn time.
Glad to have music back. Musicians must've been starving.

Pecos= one hit wonder. If that's considered a hit these days. Mark my words write em down they ain't got it. Why anyone thinks they do shows that liquor sells are souring.

Good stuff, way past due. Cody Jinks finally has shows coming up that aren't being rescheduled, again. No social distancing and no masks.

I went to a huge event 6 months ago with thousands of folks there and maybe 5 mask total. Been that way ever since. The media would have you believe every one is locked in their closet with ten mask on. The hoax is being blown wide open.

We went and saw Johnny Rodriguez in Hunter Saturday night. At 44 we brought the average age down quite a bit. 😁
Jake Stringer opened up and they were good.
Beers tasted so good out in public!

I’m less familiar with Pecos on the Rooftop, but I like their sound. Parker is awesome. I like several of his songs.
Looks and sounds like a great time was had.
I just turned it on . I was looking bird dogs in the butt this morning.
