You know where we're going with this tonight. Tried to pound it into the shape of the US, but Texas got a little wider and just couldn't find any Florida left in it!!
The wife is having her card party later this week, and is cutting me off from fish and fried foods in the house until they're done. Guess it will be grilling' time for a few days!! If tonight was my last fry, might as well make it great. This is some more of that amazing cow elk I got in January. I think the best I've ever had!! Flour/egg/flour and smoking hot pan, more flour and drippings gravy, extra pepper. Tater and green beans was just an excuse to add more gravy!
Just 'cause it's thin and hot, no reason to ruin an elk steak. perfect medium rare.
