Haven’t tried it yet but I want to. Made with scorpion peppers, almost as hot as Carolina Reapers. I have some planted and will be making some hot sauce with them later.

Forget the heat, how does it taste differently than the original?

Different taste,not near as vinegary.
Good flavor and the heat stays with you.

You need vinegar for turnips and mustards.

Love the taste of Tabasco. But can't do scorpion peppers. My colon would divorce me and take half my stuff.

That made my [censored] burn one day. A buddy and put an entire bottle of it into a clear plastic to-go style container and got it confused with verde salsa when he told me what it was. So I slathered it on a breakfast burrito and didn’t realize the heat until almost the end. Being really drunk helped. A few hours later my stomach didn’t agree with me so I had a long discussion with a fallen pine tree and expressed my sincere apologies to the tree for how I had just treated it.

Will have to give the Scorpion flavor a try. And take a reflux pill couple hours before hand.

You grow your own tabasco peppers? Where do you get the seeds?

I’ve been growing Tabasco Peppers for 20 yrs. You can’t buy the actual McIlhenny strand from Avery Island (proprietary), but you can buy Tobasco Pepper seeds. I order mine from Pepper Joe. Com. The plants get about 5’ tall and produce about 100 peppers per plant. They are hot, but have an excellent flavor. You can buy different sizes of bottles from Amazon and make your own varieties of pepper sauce.

The Tabasco Garlic / Cayenne pepper sauce is about as hot as I can take it, but the flavor is fantastic.

Yeah, if you really like peppers- each has its own taste.
