That looks almost identical to what we had, but my wife added a loaf of soda bread. Good stuff!!
You should have been here yesterday!

Yes, corned beef brisket. Some like to chunk it, I prefer sliced nice and thick, so I can make hash in the morning with leftover meat.

Nailed it. It is a cut of brisket that has been corned aka marinated.

Buy a corned beef brisket on the after St. Patties day sales and smoke it. Good stuff.
Blank, that made me hungry and I thought I was full.

Blank, that made me hungry and I thought I was full. I think that's called pastrami at that point.

Nailed it. It is a cut of brisket that has been corned aka marinated. I'd go with cured.

Here`s a brisket I cured made into corned beef for sandwiches a while back. Beats the stuff you get at the store.

Mine looks the same but I add rutabagas. After "the day" I slice and freeze the corn beef for sandwiches and potato salad and then have the left over veggies with hot dogs. Actually pretty good.
