Besides a Trijicon RMR...what are other optic options for Glock MOS applications?

If you want it to fairly consistently work there isn't one. Well, maybe an SRO. If you don't mind having to send it in occasionally for repairs a vortex venom, burris ff3 or leupold dpp, sig, are ok. Really depends on purpose of the gun

I think you can get the Glock plates for pretty much all the optic patterns.

I carry the 407v2 on my Shadow Systems every day. I’ve carried it for probably 1-1 1/2 years now and have never had a problem with it besides it collecting hair and lint on the screen, but I think that’s more of my problem lol. Hundreds of rounds through it and it’s never even blipped. I have not shot it in competition, but I wouldn’t hesitate to try it.

Thanks Kyle. This is the feed back I'm looking for. I have no problem buying quality products. Buy once cry once.

Also looking at the brand BIL uses.

Its a lot of optic for the money and checked all my boxes. The movement on/off, red dot, solar/battery power. It’ll light up and run even if the battery is done if I’m in daylight and the solar takes over while in daylight on the range to save batteries. also doesn’t hurt that it is RMR foot print, even though my Shadow System is machined for multiple optics, most guns are machined for RMR foot print so I could take it off and move to something else if I wanted. Win - Win - Win for me.

Get the 507v2 if you want green or the “EoTech” type reticle. I just wanted the dot and red so I went the 407v2 route.

Purpose of the pistol and optic?

I am a fan of the SRO and run both of mine with the Jagerwerks BRO for a little added protection-- the large sight window is great but it is a larger optic than an RMR or holosun.

If I was outfitting a competition, plinking or hunting pistol then I'm going SRO. If its a daily carry gun and you want a smaller footprint AND RMR is out then holosuns seem to be the next popular optic.

I have a Trijicon RMR on a Glock 34 Gen 5. I like it, just looking for something else to put on a Glock 19 MOS.

I have two of the similar HE507C-GR Elite and they have been excellent. I would buy again without hesitation.

I use Trijicon, Holosun and Shield on compacts. I really like the Holosun sights, well made and a lot of options for the money. I have an extra holosun 507Cx2 if your interested.

I'm running the SRO (5moa) on my G19 gen5 w/ Jager BRO and Trijicon suppressor sights-- it does ride a bit higher with the BRO but the large window is pretty awesome and it doesn't look/feel awkward on a G19.

The SRO dots are the cleanest/clearest I've seen.
