Scared of the vaccine? I'm not scared of Covid so why would I go get shots over something I'm not worried about?

We moved the MIL out of the Senior living center she was in, because of the high number of positive cases and deaths in the elderly residents. They said when they had the vaccine available, she could come back and get it. When they called, we took her back, and as caregivers they gave it to us too, early on. I don't have any feelings on it, one way or the other.

I truly believe I had it in the early stages of last year, and it was the hardest sickness I have had, and took 3 weeks to recover. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. All of my kids, and grandkids have had it it the last 4-6 months. The results varied from no issues at all, to the worst they have ever experienced. I have lost 4 very good friends to it in the last 6 months, and two were younger and healthier than me. A friend 20 years younger spent 44 days in ICU, and was just released last week.

Having served in some interesting places in the world in the military, and traveled all over the world for business and hunting, I would be willing to bet that I have a shot record which doubles most of you all's. If you don't want it, don't get it. If someone does, and you don't believe in it, don't try to be an azzhole and belittle them for it! To each their own, they MIGHT be the one kicking dirt down on you.
