Hello all hunters,,,,, friday morning look out at my feeder close to my shop here and find all 150lbs of mixed feed all dumped below the feeder, as i walked up to it i hear the feeder running all night I guess. I only feed in evening 5pm. My HCR digital timer i guess lost its mind? Any suggestions? this is model 4. times a day grey box model. Im guessing its about 10yr old timer, never had a lick of problem with this timer.
Any suggestions? already sent mail to the Burnet HCR office have yet to hear back......

Hope our fawn crop or younger deer survived the Big Ice freeze from hill country here, only 5dg on the Pedernales River.... bring on spring....

hunt safe all....

If its 10 years old than you got your moneys worth out of it. I would just buy a new timer and call it good. Nothing electronic lasts forever. My HCR's are right around 20 years old now and still running strong. I expect every year to have to replace one though just due to age.

10 years and the new ones are only $45 i think just buy a new one and move on. We have 32 of these on our place and absolutely the best you can get in my opinion.

Where can you get them for $45 CB09? The best price I can find is around $90.

If you can't laugh at yourself, give me a call. I'll gladly laugh at you.

Their website. I get the HCR regular timer II. It does not have a warranty but for the cost it is worth it.

Years ago on HCR timers with issues you would remove the AA battery in the timer and re-insert reversing the polarity to clear the board. Then remove the battery and put it back in correctly. Resetting fixed most issues. I have had this happen when the AA battery went bad one time.

UPDATE ALL!!!!

Well after a short chat with a nice young lady at HRC Feeders, I sent in the defunked old timer, come to find it was past its time, excessive corrosion
on the board, doesn't warrant repair, So we purchased another one, just got it in today, very timely and man its the way to go. New timer, will see If
we can get another 10+ years of use? 5 Stars for HCR Feeder Company in Burnet TX. They got my service and vote, hope others have the
same should they have similar issues.

Take and all best to all!

Hunt safe....
