Lots of activity here and this isn't even all of it. Glad it's someone else and not me.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

That's a whole lot of work and is not even half of it. Like it was mentioned above, just be glad it isn't July or August.

Lot of work, but work I always enjoy

Impressive to see so many dedicated lease members on the same page to move all at once

That is one hunter with his friends. Not included in this photo - additional protein feeders, blind towers, skid steer, Ranger, 40' conex, 10X40 converted job trailer and who knows what all else.

I've helped friends move from lease to lease, at the end of those days the cold beer never tastes any better.

Actually, that is some of the best times and things about hunting. Building lifelong friendships is what it is all about.

Anyone care to translate that much stuff into a price per pound for venison?

Don't go there. Some of the guys on our lease give away all their venison.

Yes exactly- not too many people on a lease care doing it for low cost venison.

Let’s be honest if most of us hunted because we needed the meat we would shoot them in the road ditch not lease land to shoot deer.

If I had to shoot deer to survive no way I’m gonna throw thousands of dollars and hours and hours of my time getting set up on a lease to do it

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

It's a lot of work, no doubt. For me, it's always been an improvement, was worth it and made me a better hunter. Last time, it was way cheaper, less work and definitely a good decision to sell a lot of equipment in place, and buy some new stuff.

Agreed, there is a waiting list on our place, not that I am leaving, but if so I would sell everything to the new hunter. Only exception we be 2 custom blinds. Now if I was 30 again, instead of pushing 60 I'd be in that caravan!
