Gossip dies when it hits a wise person’s ears. Rumor and lies are created by haters, spread by fools, and unfortunately believed by the naïve!

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Should say about quarter of a mile on a full run...but he had me dead to rights at about 30 steps. Could not make a move as I was sitting out naked so had to wait until he had shied off to about 50 yards before I could slow draw him. I think we had over two minutes of the coyote within 100 yards in this wide open terrain. The day before, we had over 7 minutes of a group of 5 coming from about 3/4 of a mile. It took so long that the wind had switched and was hitting me on the back of the neck. Surprisingly, they stopped their advance at about 125 and began swinging around to our right. My buddy killed one of them after they made a complete 180 degrees. I guess the Rogue sounded so good that they simply could not leave after getting a whiff of three Rednecks. Adios, Gary

People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf

There’s not much to hide behind out there. Great story, glad to hear the Rogue is exceeding your expectations.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
