Looking forward to Thursday.
A buddy caught an 11.5 lb'er out there over the weekend.

Probably not until end of the month. I just wrapped up the install of my XI5. I had a brain fart when I tested it and had no power at motor. After getting multi meter out and checking plug I realized that maybe it has to be deployed.

Have a buddy that's been wearing them out on Palestine - shallow and staging. I even caught a few in the river last Friday....I figured the weather would slow roll things - but everything seems to be going nuts.

I remember seeing the pics of you and your dog out there last year. Looked like y’all did real well.

I have always wanted to catch them pre-spawn staging, never have, tired last year first time, no luck. But during spawn in shallow, in waders, been catching them like that for years, sounds like they are already spawning, its a March and April thing... I might throw on the waders and give it a go, but I'm just eat'n up right now planning my next ski trip. I will for sure get into them when summer crappie pattern starts, in April...
