Kidding aside, I did order 9 18rd Mec-Gar mags for my P226 and 5 20rd mags for my M1A.

More power to the capitalist. If people are paying what some are asking then capitalism proves the reigning world champion of economic systems. I want the socialist commies to get slapped, preferably with a roufus round to the dome.

Doesn’t sound like anyone has a problem. When the illegitimate Biden Admin inflation scheme tanks the dollar those who are buying everything at these supposed high prices will get the last laugh. If anyone thinks goods of every type, not just firearm related, are not going to be effected by the hyper inflation coming our way- stand by! 3.5 months ago a barrel of crude was $25, today it is $62+|-. When oil prices go up, EVERYTHING cost more. The dollars you have in the bank right now are already worth less than they were in November. Some of the not so sharp among us are actually cheering this. It is stupefying to witness in real time. Buy now if you can.

JM, I am investing in precious metals. Au and Ag I keep in hidden safes, Lead and copper I store in brass tubes.

Hedge on! Quality guns are an great investment too. I see many guns going for 2x what they went for in 2019. Foreign imports and custom guns primarily.

Price gouging is a myth. To those who aren’t paying attention your cash money isn’t worth what was, and prices are never going back to 2019. Guns and ammunition are going to continue to be expensive. If you are waiting for prices to return to the good old days you are kidding yourself. Buy everything you can when you can as those dollars are back sliding really fast.

I am not concerned with potential bans causing a price surge. I am concerned the devaluation of currency causing a HUGE price surge. Hard to equate my position to the OP. Not sure what the OP's point is truly.

Pass the gravy.

This is what I am saying. The dollar is on track to tank. What you see from people like the OP is consumers not willing to continue participating in the economy, which in turn creates recession. When enough of the consumer market stops participating, like in the 1930’s, you get a depression. This unfortunately is by design. Making the masses codependent on big government is necessary in a socialist society. The middle class will need to be purged for absolute socialism to take hold. The oligarchs and their DC puppets will be their own elite class then the unwashed masses controlled and economically enslaved for all time. It is diabolical to say the least.

WTBS Incoming bans are always going to be a possibility and they will have no effect on crime. There are enough of what the leftist want to ban in circulation to last through this century and into the next. Who is to say what new technology will bring forth likely making contemporary weaponry obsolete. The current real threat is making ammunition unobtainable via hyper inflation. When ammunition is priced out of a majority of the markets means we have made it a luxury item, guess what folks- that’s where we are going and it isn’t by accident.

I have two good examples of this: A cordless Makita miter saw and cordless circular saw. I bought them both early 2020. Both came with 4 batteries and a charger. The miter saw cost $599 and the circular saw was $269, not sale price - just everyday price. The additional batteries was a promotion though. Today, the miter saw is now $779 and the circular saw is $349 and each only comes with 2 batteries and charger.

Who is no longer participating in the economy? It's wild to say that an economy experiencing temporary demand-pull inflation has people choosing not to participate. If that was the case, then the perfect policy would be a stimulus package! And you cannot compare the economy of the 30's to today. We learned from The Great Depression and created an entire institution to prevent that sort of failure in the future.

Seems like you're more content to rant about the socialist boogeyman than to understand that ammunition =/= $21T economy.

The OP is about JB-gun-tax and the potential affect on the pricing of those specific items...not all the other stuff that got thrown into the discussion. Related? Sure but off topic. That's why I asked for the OP writer's real opinion...real point.

Pass the gravy.

“Pre-Ban, Joe-Tax” sellers"

I'm glad you could make sense from this because I certainly couldn't.

What I meant was those selling items under the impression its going to be banned later. Just laying down, and giving up. I thought I cleared it up a bit when I said don't instigate.
