The new one.
I watch very few movies more than once. Watching this one for about the 20th time. Cracks me up. Great movie.

Read the book. Buy it for teenagers. It’s an excellent work. Written by Charles Portis. You really get the sense of a daughters vengeance against the man who killed her father. Leaning is one of my favorite gospel tunes. That piano is beautiful music in the movie is beautiful.
To be determined

The courtroom scene is my favorite. Close behind is the “Texas waddy” scene. And the shooting corn dodgers scene (“That damn Chinaman is runnin’ them cheap shells on me again!”)
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Read the book twice. Enjoyed both movies more than once.

One of my favorites. Seen both versions many times. Excellent movie.

Jeff bridges did a great job but I cannot stand the Maddie character.
I would have left her out on the plains and let the Indians deal with her
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Neither Campbell nor Damon convinced me that they were Rangers.

The original is best. Bridges' forced voice wears on me.

Original was better but most remakes can’t live up to the expectations of a remake on all fronts so they lost a few battles. Both still very great movies!!!
