Went and looked for brisket today. Best I saw was $5.99/lb for a whole. $7.99/lb for flats!! Crazy prices, $140 for a hunk of meat!! Are you guys seeing that increase??

No chit man.........a beef tenderloin is cheaper price wise.
BBQ use to be for the poor guy to make a crap piece of meat edible.
What was washed most in 2020/21? Hands or brains?

I bought a prime brisket at Costco a couple of weeks ago $2,69/lb. Packer trim.

we will be going to Costco within the next few days to a week ... I'll check prices then. I think I still have several partial smoked briskets in the freezer but I try to have several whole also that I am out of right now. The last time I checked our HEB, it was $5.99 per pound for whole packers which is crazy IMO.
