Top picture is what the found at the house, bottom was in a storage unit. 244 pounds of marijuana, approximately 6 pounds THC wax, approximately 3 pounds of THC oil, 19 Oxycodone pills, 5 firearms (two of the firearms were found to have been stolen out of Sweetwater TX) and over $88,000 in U.S. currency. Bottom pic was found in the storage unit, well over 300 lbs.

When I got 220 pounds of weed on the interstate and my wife got 58 pounds we got roasted when the pd posted It. We should have been out catching real criminals.

If the PD was smart they would hold on to it and resell it ( PD funding) when it becomes legal in Texas within the next 4 years.

I have one that could totally one up but I can’t post This is a small town, that's a big bust for us, might be the biggest we've ever had here. I suspect the oil and the wax came out of Colorado, more and more of it is making it's way down here.

I pulled 330 pounds out of the back seat of a car because the driver was asleep at a red light. Not drunk or high, just tired. Sucked to be him.
Most meth was 8 of the 55 gallon drums they ship it in filled with gas. They don’t bother to dry it out, just charge them for the weight of 440 gallons. I think gas is 7 pounds a gallon, times 440, equals approximately 3,080 pounds.

Every time I see something like this I think of the movie "The Untouchables". Those guys really thought they were doing something good by busting up barrels of liquor. In hindsight it was dumb because alcohol should have never been illegal to begin with, just like weed. I'm for smaller govt and LESS laws/regulations. I dont understand the people who claim to be for small government but want you arrested for smoking a joint.

A few years back in Sweetwater the theft got out of hand for a while. One of the main area meth labs had been busted along with the dealer kingpin, and the price of meth went way up. We had to be dang careful with what we had in our trucks when we park them in that area. Seems like that area is a pretty hot spot for drugs, then again, it’s everywhere.

In hindsight it was dumb because alcohol should have never been illegal to begin with, just like weed. I'm for smaller govt and LESS laws/regulations. I dont understand the people who claim to be for small government but want you arrested for smoking a joint. The law is the law, we are a nation of laws. To quote John Adams, " If we cannot speak the law as it is where is our liberty?" We have people who've sworn an oath to enforce the law, just because one doesn't agree with the law makes it no less a law. The only way around this is to remove the law from the books and that has to be done by legislators. I'm pretty sure many LEO would love to see some of the laws they have to enforce removed from the books. Compare what we see in the drug bust to a legal dispensary in say Colorado. With the exception of the pills and the guns most of what is in the pictures can be legally purchased across the counter the difference is a tax is paid to the state. Failure to pay tax on income is a crime so even if you're selling legally you haven't created less government and could possibly be increasing it due to man power needed to monitor the businesses. As for calling for less government that's sadly amusing, we all know the civilian side of government will never downsize, our only hope is to stifle it's growth. The states are slowly changing as we already see but it will take time, until then we have to enforce the laws we have chosen to be on the books. It's just my opinion but if we're going to legalize it go all the way. legalize growing for personal use and possession the only law that might come into play would be failure to pay taxes on income if one chooses to sell it, but with everybody growing for personal use I don't see where even that would be much of a problem.
