Since I had a lot of PVC pipe to replace, as you might know, I used that as a reason to buy a Milwaukee Fuel Sawzall. I used it to open up places I needed to get to to fix busted pipe. It works great. I never had one of that quality before. All went well till I got to a couple of places where the Sawzall was too big to use, and a couple of places where I could only use one hand. So, I found and bought a Milwaukee M12 Hackzall. To be honest, as long as you don’t tell my wife, I could have done the work without the new Sawzall, but I couldn’t have done it all in the tight places without the M12 Hackzall.

And, to keep score on the PVC, I’ve used up 22 feet of 3/4 PVC and the necessary fittings, and 25 feet of CPVC and fittings. And there is one last leak to find and fix. I had to finally quit today after about 6 hours of low to the floor pipe work. Got to the point where getting back up was pretty darn tough. You can stick a fork in me, cause I am done.

Note: if you are anywhere near being a commercial type PVC guy, step up to the Milwaukee Fuel Sawzall. Strong, and bigger battery.

Having a Bloody Mary reward reward right now. Yay me...

Bill, I’m pretty sure The Man has one. I know my usual plumber has that big Sawzall. Don’t know if he has the Hackzall.

Speaking of my usual plumber, from what I’ve had to do myself to get so much piping replaced, if I’d had him do it, the cost might have run over $1k, or maybe twice that. And I’m not finished yet.

Now on second Bloody Mary...

Are you referring to "the man"?

I carry the M12 line on my truck. They are compact. Hackzall is impressive for its size. Also recommend thr 3/8 M12 ratchet.

Keep 18 volt in tool room for heavy work. But M12 see most action.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Me and the ol lady grabbed stuff for bloody Mary's just a bit ago. I'll make a couple up to celebrate with ya. Good job, I would have to at least have a good helper (probly my wife) to do all you did, my knee's are trashed and I'm overweight so getting up isn't as easy as it used to be. Cheers. cheers

Yep, I have the 12V set of hackzall, drill, impact and angle driver.
I use them at least as much as the higher voltage Dewalt tools.

I got my inspiration from you when I made my final PVC hookup to my vegetable garden.
