nice mess of perch colt, that there is some good eatin. i was going to leave the boat at home and go walk a couple creeks checking the crappie. was going to see if greg wanted to tag along but you know how those bass guys are, lol, they get mad when those succulent bass become table food  Might upset some of those TFF guys but doesn’t bother me a bit.  All part of God’s Supermarket!

Boat is ready, i'll be captaining for my kids' tournament this saturday at Lake Arlington. Never been on the lake before last weekend to scout but I haven't read much good about it. Scouting trip was unsuccessful. Place was disgusting. We'll see!

No sir, in signed them up for the Lonestar Junior Bassmasters club. This will be the second tournament of the season. First was on Granbury. Can’t wait to get to some good lakes and warm weather lol.

Saw a picture of one of the boat ramps at OH Ivie, the place was a madhouse. A 16.6# lake record, 3 new smallmouth (possibly a 4th) records back to back, a dozen 13+ pound Legacy ShareLunker fish, and scores of double digit fish will do that.

Went yesterday afternoon near Glen Rose. Fished from 1 to 4, caught six up to 3 lbs., smallest was 2 lbs.
Spinnerbait, red Rat L Trap and a Rapala minnow.
Most fish were just off the creek channel in five or six foot of water.
Very windy, had to cut it short.

We caught a boat load of blackfin tuna last month. 200 mile trip out.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Water was in the low 50s Tuesday when I went. A week before, it was 40°. It’s gonna turn on over the next week as the water temp gets in the high 50s/low60s.
