40 days as of today............Stupidest thing Ive ever done. I feel worse.

At least when I was drinking I was eating good food. I quit and started eating [censored] food. I guess I was missing the sugar.

Tomorrow its wine time.

I would think that most people that have the desire to quit drinking would have a longer range goal and a more important goal than "feeling better" after just 40 days. None of my business, of course, but since you posted it, I assume you want some type of replies.

I quit drinking 6 years ago because I didn't like waking up the next day feeling bad because I wanted to feel good the night before and it messed with the drugs I take, Sooooooooo.

I know right, it reminds me of people that find a forum on the internet, then a sub off topic forum after they create a login, then after they find that section, they find the other section, and even crazier they go even further to comment on the fact the original person posting probably posted because he wanted replies. But the craziest part is g u e s s w h o r e p l i e d

your screen name reminds of married chicks at a wedding. free range, sounds like something i mumble when i walked in a bar at college

DJ Screams out "hey guys TAKE WHAT YOU CAN and then the lights FADE TO BLACK."

No matter what tho man, its never free. Ever

What was the reason you quit drinking? Just curious because we all have our reasons and most of the time it's a damn good one. The flip side is we can come up with a thousand very convincing reasons to go back to drinking and ignore the reason we quit. Been over 6 years for me and I'll never forget the reason I quit, I was going through a 1/2 gallon of whisky every 3 days. I was going to die! When a body has been running on alcohol for years don't expect it effects or attraction to just go away immediately. That's the reason most rehab facilities programs run 45 to 60 days, some longer depending on the individual, the body and the mind have to adjust. Most even have what is called a Sober Living program once rehab is completed and all have hot line when a person if having a problem. Were it me I'd adjust my diet, that's far easier than what you've accomplished so far, think about the reason you quit.

No the truth is nobody likes the alcoholic/drunk who somehow manages to destroy themselves and most everything around them in the process, all the time thinking they don't have a problem. Ask a Peace officer how many domestic's they respond to that are alcohol related, ask a judge how many divorces are alcohol related. Close to 9 percent of the US population has an addiction to drugs or alcohol according to the National Institute on Drug abuse. You can easily double that number (possibly triple) because that's based on those who've sought treatment, the majority go to their grave before they're willing to seek help and many put somebody else in the grave before they get there. Some people can drink, some people can't, for you post a pic over a table of beer mocking those with an alcohol problem is telling. I've done the same thing.

HWY no real reason......Probably 4 years ago I gave up dope.....then 2-3 years ago I quit the tobacco. Quitting was a process with me. I actually had to practice quitting a few times before it stuck

Now I'm doing the same with alcohol. I drank a few glasses of wine after those 40 days and then back on the wagon the next day. I may stay quit or not.

This time off the vino I have been flooding my system with water and green veggies and garlic and onion. Healthy food and few carbs so my carb brain fog has lifted.

All this may be for nothing and I'm dead in 2-6 months rofl

PS...........quitting Copenhagen was the worst to quit......way harder than the Horse. way harder.

I quit drinking and Copenhagen the same week. I was an even bigger SOB than usual for three weeks. It's been 13 years. I don't miss drinking, I DO miss Copenhagen. It's an uphill battle, but it can be overcome.
