Border Collie to good home. We rescued this border collie while volunteering at the dog pound. We were told she was deaf and they couldn't adopt her out and she would be put down. I don't think she is 100% deaf, but she is pretty deaf. She is about 2 1/2-3 years old. She was found in the middle of the country with an e-collar and a cattle tag on her. She wants to herd animals. I was told she was probably used with goats or sheep. She is an inside/outside dog. She is kennel trained. I have taught her a handful of hand signals. She is very smart and friendly. She gets along with other dogs of all sizes. She gets along with cats. She is potty trained. Rides in truck. Wants to be on your lap. Wants to sleep in your bed, but she sleeps in her kennel. She is current on her shots and current on heart worm pills. She has 3 more months of heart worm pills.
She loves to run. She needs a big yard or land. She loves to check out our land, but will not leave it. She will follow our cars to the road, then return to the house.
She is a really good dog. We just rescued her so they wouldn't put her down.
The only negative to her is that she has lots of hair. She needs to be brushed. Also, she is white. When she is working the cattle she doesn't stay white.
She loves to shake hands.
Come take her for a test drive. We accept returns if it doesn't work out. We want her to go to the right house.
Located in Weatherford, but I will meet you for the right home.
