"Swinging Door near Pecan grove is world famous."
How can a place be world famous, ff only one person mentions it?

The write-up was in the Texas Monthly magazine. The location is on state highway 723 two and a half miles west of Pecan Grove subdivision. Could be 2.55 miles.

The Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls. They have great breakfast but their lunches & dinners, meh. There pies are fantastic though.

If you're ever in Junction, stop by Mauricio's, it's a little hole-in-the-wall, cash-only place that does outstanding breakfast tacos and legit menudo. It's run by a lady and her two daughters, everything is made from scratch.

I got a few. When work used to send me to New Orleans I'd stay with my cousin in the garden district about a block off St Charles St. and the trolley line. A half a block down and across the street from her double shotgun was the Blue Bird Cafe. They had incredible blueberry waffles, eggs cooked to perfection, crispy tender hah browns, and the best sausage patties I've ever had. The New Orleans office re-organized during rebuilding after Katrina so they quit sending me there, and my cousin and family moved to Tennessee and never went back, so I haven't been there in years and don't even know if they're still there.
Here in Waco it's George's. They do a really good CFS, although their lunch chicken fried chicken is a tad better.
My job now sends me out west occassionaly and the breakfast buffet at the Staybridge in San Bernardino is far away and above what any hotel breakfast buffet should be. Trays piled high with really good sausage and bacon, a made-to-order waffles, eggs, hash browns, and omelette griddle manned by three or four "cooks", and fresh fruit cut as you order it. They do not have CFS, though. So I deduct points accordingly. Really doubt they carried this on through the Covid, though. Most hotels now offer a morning grab bag with a muffin, piece of fruit, and a bottle of water. Sad.

Not sure why but I love Jumburrito in Midland/Odessa....green sauce is freakin' awesome. Switch Cafe in Cool is pretty solid but than again I am a sucker for all you can eat bacon.

Anyone tried Seven Mile Cafe in Denton? Drove past it today & it was packed. Menu looks appetizing. Curios if anyone has tried it.
Thanks

Harris county smokehouse where the breakfast is by far better than the actual bbq.
