Go to Sam's and get the firm one. Big savings and they work just fine.

We buy from Texas Mattress Makers, they make them on site and are way under your traditional mattress store prices.

I've had a Sleep number for over 20 years with dual controls. A heated mattress pad over it. I sleep very well. The Ambien helps though.

Had a sleep number (select comfort back then) for 20 years. Still like it.

Wife and I got a sleep number 6 months ago. We like it. The adjustable base is nice too.

There's only one way to pick a mattress.
You have to go to the mattress place and lay on some.
If you want to save money ask about their returns. Some folks get it home, don't like it and send it back.
They discount those big time.

I would go get a Purple 4 mattress in a heartbeat once my wife says the beautyrest is done. I've got one of their hybrid pillows and it's beyond comfortable with the gel lattice (or whatever they call it)

Slept on a Beautyrest Black at a Holiday Inn a few years ago, it will be my next mattress when we replace the Stearns and Foster.

Got a Nectar a couple months ago. So far my back has not hurt at all while trying to sleep and that is the first time I can say that in 10 years.

If your lower back hurts, read the reviews on them. That's the reason I did and I don't regret it. The fact that a king is under $1K is a bonus.

We have a Sleep Number (about 8 years now)...I like it the wife hates it. I've told her that it's air and if she doesn't like it just keep adjusting. What is likely to happen is we end up with a new mattress in a box and if we don't like it then it'll get sent back.

I bought a real cheap one for my container at the lease but forgot brand. It was online, it’s extra firm and I crash out.

Not sure how well it would hold up to everyday use though

we recently needed to upgrade, went to a dozen different stores (the way my wife shops bang) and ended up back at the first store. I don't recall the brand but it had a small pillow top and was firm. We also got the electric adjustable base which is somewhat handy for watching TV but every time either of us rolls over or moves, it almost always wakes up the other. We have 12 months to return the mattress but the electric base had a no return policy. I would make someone a heck of a deal on this king size electric base ...
