Still looking for a favorite one that will have great Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs, taking recommendations!

The wife had I had breakfast at the Coffee House Cafe yesterday, I was so looking forward to getting my Chicken Fried Steak & eggs.
Not on the menu anymore because it was not cost effective as the waitress told us cry

So I went for the Brisket Omlette which was pretty good, what was really tasty was my wife gave me one bite and only one bite of her Hashbrown Casserole, it had Cheese and Butter in it oh man it was good. grin

Their Coffee is dayum good!!

Beacon cafe over by Haslet has a really good corned beef hash if you're into that and not looking for something that came out of a can.

I have eaten at all of those except Pioneer in Wichita Falls, should have tried it when my inlaws lived there. I have eaten at Mama's Daughter on Harry Hines many times for lunch only, will try it for breakfast.

Why study about it? You have no place to go and all day to get there.

What is your opinion on them? The CFS and eggs at any of those places are better than par imo. Another decent CFS and eggs is Texan Diner in Haslet.

Petes was good, nothing to rave about.
Mama's Daughter have not had the breakfast yet.
Poor Richards in Plano was pretty darn good, a little saltier than I like, but then again I seldom add salt to any of my food.

Jalisco's on 84, just south of 19th?

The CFS game is sharp for those who order it only with gravy on the side. Don’t like it too soggy.
