A buddy of mine wants to take his old and fairly rough condition Glock 17 to the next gun show to see if he can sell it. I know nothing about Glocks; can any of you GlockFolk give me a fair market estimate that I can share with him? BTW, the pistol has no box, no papers, no nothin' to help it along!

Well if it was all original with box and papers it would fetch $1000 to $1700. Atleast from what they were going on the good ole GB. Now since he doesn't have much but the rough conditioned gun depending on how rough I'd say $500-$600. Still a collectors piece but I'd take it straight to auction tbh, has he seen the show pawnstars?

Is it truly a gen 1? Or is it a gen 2 mistaken for a 1? Gun broker will fetch the most money, however with not box and goodies I don’t think it will go over 4-500 if it’s most likely a gen 2 police trade in/ carry gun.

Thanks, folks. I can't answer the question about whether of not it is truly a Gen 1. How can he tell the difference? Will it have "Gen. 1" stamped on it somewhere?
