It changes a lot of things. If you have frequent sightings of really large pigs, you may be tempted to let them walk so they may be around in February for the contest. During February you may let a lot of pigs walk waiting for a check casher to appear. Either being in the contest or planning to be changes the strategy of some hunters, land owners. I know one that feed corn HEAVILY all last year to try to keep the pigs around and keep them fat in hopes of killing a check casher. he never did that before, always quit throwing corn when feeders ran dry after deer season. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/02/full-67314-282244-img_7186.jpg)

Yep, I missed that, thanks for the correction. This board is a cluster -- so Lilly Grace is in 6th just out of the money? That sucks

Like some saltwater fishing tournaments do.

Ol' boy stuck 8oz weights down the fish's throat, got caught in front of everybody, then denied it and played stupid LOL. Not only disqualified, but banned for life.
