Well this was a huge let down. Atmosphere was very dark and noisy, like being at a club minus the obnoxious music, too dark to see how the steak was actually cooked.

We started with the Lobster Deveiled Eggs. 5 for $15, these were actually pretty good.

Next was a Spinach Salad with Almond Crusted Goat Cheese, again very good and healthy portion for $11.

I had the 40 day dry aged 16 ounce Ribeye cooked rare, by texture they nailed it, but too dark to really tell. The flavor was, lacking, and appeared to be broiled instead of grilled. The steak had a lot of tough tendon like strings. Not worth the $48. The side that came with it was Parmesan Truffle Grits, great consistency but way too much Parmesan and Garlic.

We ordered the grilled Brusell Sprouts as a shared side, very very good. Well worth the $10.

Wife had the 40 day dry aged 6 ounce filet and said it was perfect. She had the Garlic Mashed Taters and they were great.

For drinks she had house Chardonnay, she liked it. I had 2 very well poured Old Fashioned’s with Makers Mark, they were excellent. Also has a Texas Mule that was made with TX Whiskey, again very good and a large pour.

For $240 I won’t be returning, but if I want just drink and appetizers then I’d consider it.

Sounds like you just got a bad piece of meat, why didn’t you ask for another one? I’ve done it at Trulucks on a $100 steak before, it simply happens.

The steak doesn't look that good. Not trimmed like it should be. I went years ago and it was good. Sad if it is living on reputation.

I agree that it doesn’t look properly trimmed. This wasn’t my first choice of places to go but the only place I could get in last minute. Should’ve begged at Del Frisco’s

For that price I would have sent the steak back, just saying!

The wife and I went to Chamberlain's many years ago to meet some friends for drinks and appetizers, she did not particularly like the ambience and neither did I.
Well soon after that I had received a buy one get one free birthday meal for there.

So the wife was taking me out for surprise birthday dinner, I went ahead and printed the freebee coupon and it is in my pocket thinking that is where we are going.
We drive right by it and I aske her if we are going to stop? Nope !
She disliked Chamberlains so much that she would rather pay full pop somewhere else and took me to some dive named Bobs Steak & Chop House on Lemon Ave grin

I have been disappointed in most restaurant experiences since covid. Not surprising since it has hit them harder than most. Grade on the curve for a bit, and hopefully the good ones will find their way.

Nope. They were full. Every single seat. They aren’t hurting. My go to steak house is still serving up excellent meals, this place can too.
