1. Litters have been demonstrated to include as many at 18 PIGLETS!
2. Even though temperatures went well below zero (-7F), hogs, even new litterrs, have shown that they can survive cold temperatures.

1. 18 would be an exceptional number for a single litter. What you showed are a couple of sows and a bunch of piglets. The piglets may be, and most likely are from multiple litters.
2. Of course they can survive the cold. There are feral hogs in Canada and Minnesota.

cheers didnt check out the site, most piglets i seen on 1 show in wild, tis 4...
& it's amazing the cold temps wildlife can stand...

Those pigs in Russia are pretty dang tough, that climate is way more extreme on the cold side than Texas.

Pigs are native to Siberia, I would only assume this little cold snap will have no effect on them.
