Straight black coffee for me. I ‘ll drink just about any brand as long as it’s fresh. Same here. I buy heb’s columbian or house blending think.

My preference order
Cafe Ole aka HEB Pecan coffee
NM Pinion coffee
Mickey Ds coffee, always stout
BTW I don't add nothing to my coffee, no sugar, milk etc black only

Back in the 70's I learned to put cream and sugar in the Sailor Boy Chicory coffee that the Cajuns made at Trade School in Louisiana. They also put about twice as much coffee grounds in the pot as anywhere I have ever drank coffee since or before. The stuff was so strong and bitter that you had to put something in it to make it drinkable. Most of them even added it to theirs also. I made Texas coffee one time and thought I was going to get my backside wooped.
Now I drink Maxwell House Breakfast Blend, put into a reusable Keurig K-Cup, but I still like it with Coffee-Mate and sugar.
