My oldest brother, Stephen, passed away last night. He was only 74
No warning, just went to bed and didn't wake. I hate that he had to go, but if he had to go, I couldn't have hoped for a better passing.
He lived over in East Texas and we didn't get together as often as either of us liked, but we kept in touch with our phones and met for lunch when we could.
He leaves behind a wife, son and daughter, and three grand children.
I miss him already.
If possible, y'all take some time today to reach out to those distant and just let them know they are missed.

I'm mostly sad for his wife, I can't imagine losing your partner in life, but I know it has to be hard.
