Is there anyone around the Little Elm/Frisco area that sells or makes holsters. Would like to try before buying. Want it to be comfortable. 9mm g2c. Thanks

Leather IWB is good unless you work outdoors and sweat a lot. I too prefer leather for the comfort but after spending two weeks in south Florida working and having my holster be sopping wet by the end of the day and major rust happening to the gun I switched to kydex and haven’t looked back. I have a nice milt sparks leather holster for my 1911 but I rarely carry it.

I have spent probably thousands on holsters over the years but the one I use most these days is a CYA kydex I bought on Amazon for $40.

I was thinking leather as well. I dont work outside so the sweating isnt an issue. Will look into them and the kydex. Thanks

I have a leather Fist (NY) #19 IWB Close Cropped with a closed bottom for a 1911. I hardly ever wear it anymore cause I OWB carry now but it is comfortable.

There is nothing comfortable about shoving a chunk of steel in your pants and carrying it around all day. If you limit yourself to buying something off the shelf in person, you're almost certainly not going to get a good one, no matter where you live. It's trial and error, and expect to try several different things before you settle on one. Be willing to spend a little more for a product from a premium mfg with a good reputation, this is not something you want to cut corners on if you're serious about the commitment to go forth prepared.

I wear this one everyday. Never found one that I’d say was comfortable. I take It off at my desk.

I love my Tulsters...
Have both the original and OATH models. Light, easy to adjust and fit is spot on.
