He admitted that he hasn’t been looking at the United States the same way since all this began.

“You know, I thought we were living in a different country. The “Tennessee Whiskey” singer explained. "I feel like the country that I thought that we were living in was a myth."

He sounds disappointed, as am I. It sounds like he had a moment of clarity since all this began, as did I.

I don't give a chit about his political views. He's a hell of a singer/songwriter and I like a lot of his music. If I refused to listen to everyone whom I had different political views with, I would probably only listen to like 3 or 4 people. I'm a pretty hard core Conservative on every level, but I've played music in some bands that had some pretty talented liberal band members. It's all about the music, nothing else. Just don't start talking politics and we'll probably get along just fine. To me music is a disconnect from all of that chit.

I’ve stood on a couple in my time...Would stand on a couple more given the opportunity.

That is it in a nutshell. If all they did was entertain and sing, I would not have a problem. But the liberal press/media gives them this huge platform to spew biased BS that forms public opinion. At that point they are no longer an entertainer and open themselves and their music up to the criticism just like anyone else.

Yeah when I was drinking one night I deleted all his music from my phone I bought. I regret it. He’s a good entertainer.

I almost deleted a lot of bands too. IMO, at some point you just gotta chill.
