March 1 deadline for moose, sheep and mt goat apps.
Tales a good number of PP for moose and sheep but not mt goat, they are a random draw.
Spouse should get his 2nd bull moose tag this year on Western side of state. It's in a great mule deer area too that is a general license for us. Sept 15 rifle opener.

Wyoming has been good to me with a moose tag in 2005 (only random draw tag in Area 1) and a mountain goat tag in 2018 (Area 1). Now if they’ll come through with a sheep tag I’ll really sing their praises!  I put in for sheep and elk this year.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

I keep saying I'm gonna put in for mt goat but I balk at paying the up front price. Plus I think they are all in wilderness areas. It's getting close to that door closing for me. I may try for the next three of four years but after that I'll have to set that dream aside.

Area 1 would .you best bet on mt goat. You can spot them from the highway.
