i wonder what makes a dog want to get on your lap? i sat down in a chair outside earlier, and here comes Sally like a rocket and jumps in my lap, we sat there for about 20 minutes.

Picked up this Rascal 6 months ago Lab/Retreiver mix. Jazz was a tiny thing , 8 weeks old when we got Her. Now 6 months later I think She's part Giraffe and growing. Lap dog and way to big. Scared of everything including Her shadow. She was a kennel raised pup and think that has something to do with her fear.

good looking pup glens, Sally is a 45lb lap dog.

LOL. I have no idea, except that lap spelled backwards is pal.

Yeah that was taken 3 months ago. She's twice as big now. Figure around 65 lbs. and growing. 8 months old now. Max the Pit Cross ain't happy but gets along with Her. Both spoiled to Death. Heck She's even taken over the Loveseat in the living room. Her's now.

My buddy "has" to have us time everyday. I mean he needs to lay on my lap in the evening and sleep. I am his stress reliever,...and he is mine.

I have a 70 lab. that regularly sleeps in my lap.

Yeah Remington has been a lap dog from the beginning even at 96 ibs. LOL

Depends on the breed. The last thing my Brittany wants to do is sit on my lap. He has to be niffing and looking for the next bird.

My lab is 4 years old, 80lbs now, and gets in my lap probably every day, mainly in the morning first thing when I have my coffee or when I get home from being out. She still thinks she's a puppy I guess.
