Those were a little before my time but as a kid in the 60's I poured over every Sports Afield,Outdoor Life and Field And Stream mag I could get my hands on.

I remember seeing an old framed photo of Bear Bryant hunting while wearing a tie.

Cool pictures. Grand Mother collected Look, Post, and Sear catalogs. Some amazing prices in those catalogs & mags from 20, 30, 40. Don't know where they all went.

Not quite that old, but a buddy works at a local University. They were clearing out their library and he saw a double stack of green books by their dumpster. He saw what they were and snatched them up for me. A hard bound collection of Outdoor Life from 1964 to 1986, complete with color adds and subscription inserts. It's really cool reading the old adds for "new" trucks and such.

That was a cool find...!!! I had a subscription to Outdoor Life as a kid.
