Now that we all spent several days in quarantine due to the winter weather? Haven’t heard anyone say a thing about it. You?

I would think any numbers posted would have to be drastically reduced.

It never started. It was all a ploy by the government to see what they could get away with.

Don’t worry, it will be back. Now that we have opened the southern door we will be back to Covid normal.

Really, where did you get this b.s information from? I just got out of the hospital after 5 weeks and almost dying from it, my information and experience is vastly different than yours.

I was at the OST in Bandera this morning. The table closest to the kitchen has a lot of very smart individuals sitting there including myself. We have solved many of the worlds problems but so far it gets no farther than the OST. How do you know if you really had covid 19? They told you so. Who is they? Do they know everything or just what the government tells them to say. Who is to say if you had taken some ivomec you would not have even been hospitalized. I don't believe squat about anything I hear or read anymore. Covid, global warming making the winters worse or any of the other crap that is out there.

That would be quote a global conspiracy. If there is a group that powerful then why even bother worrying. There's nothing you could do.

This exactly. If we have a group responsible for engineering this nothing we can do.

Don K, all due respect I just lost a good friend and one hell of a gunsmith/machinist due to covid. So saying this thing is fabricated is nonsense

Fwiw, I’ve read that there will be a surge due to one of the variants. I can’t recall if it’s African or UK

Sorry about the loss of your friend.

Personally, I don’t see how anything could “surge” with everyone having been cooped up in there homes for several days. Those that maybe didn’t know they had it yet do know now. This cold spell seems like the best thing that could have happened to drastically cut the number of cases.

Can you imagine if Fauoci had come on TV last month and said, “okay, we need everyone to stay in their homes for 3 or 4 days and we are gonna shut down most every business.” People would have said no way and how unfair and un-American that would be. Well that’s what just happened. How could anything surge?

Ignorance I can excuse. (That means stupid people just being stupid people.)

Willful ignorance is much harder to accept. (That means not so stupid people believing stupid stuff because their insecurities demand that they have to maintain a certain worldview in their head. The more concise phrase is weak-minded.)

It’s even harder to accept when it dismisses and even hurts people who are suffering loss, as all this COVID denial does. If you are stupid, you should educate yourself. If you are being willfully ignorant, you should be ashamed at your callousness.

Thank you from the kind words. He was a great man and brilliant.

From what I read the “surge” of it happens. Don’t necessarily agree that it will happen will be caused by the variant(s). Only relaying something I read. What I do feel confident about is this is never going away. A Dr. friend said that he expects a yearly corona shot like the flu. I won’t be taking anything till substantial testing has been done to determine long term side effects. My biggest concern is fertility. My wife and I would like another lil one in the next year or two

I don’t think you are allowed to say that.

How?? The vaccine does not prevent you from becoming infected. It is only designed to lessen the effects of the virus after you become infected.
This is the reason you still have the wear the mask after getting the shot. So you don’t spread it after you become infected.
The vaccine is mRNA with means it works at the cellular level to allow your body to work against the spike proteins. It does not allow your immune system to build antibodies needed to prevent the virus from getting in. It builds igG type.
Only after your body becomes infected by the virus will you build antibodies that first comes in contact with the virus. That is what igA antibodies are for.
