Anybody know anything about their ammo quality, accuracy? Found a gun shop with 150gr .308 in stock, was wondering if it's worth looking into? Reading online, Aguila was a collaboration company with Remington that started up in 1961 in Cuernavaca, MX. Believe Remington has had no ties to them in several decades. Does anyone know how these may compare to Remington Core Lockts? In these tough times of limited ammo was wondering if I should even bother? Thanks for input....

Remington quit making 5MM.

Aguila started making it and I like it fine, I can shoot my rifle again.

I also have 9MM and it works as well as any of the other that I have.

Snagged 2 boxes from Academy today...shot 2 rounds, no issue. $19.99 a box beats the heck out of $40 per with shipping these days.

I've had no problem with their rimfire.

Yes, the 5MM is great. No experience with any of the others.

Actually I like their bullets better than Remington's.

Don’t bother trying to call customer service. No answer in months.

I like their no powder 22’s for practicing trigger control.

I see some say their rimfire is good but I can assure you their .22 shells are garbage. They are loaded so weak and inconsistent it is not only impossible to be accurate but cycling a semi auto, be it rifle or pistol is very hit and miss. I have boxes of it and would not use it to squirrel hunt. My 2 cents.
For that reason I personally would not ever buy their centerfire ammo.

I can assure you they make good 22 ammo. Far from garbage, and will run most any semi rifle I have tried as well as my TX22 and Ruger MKIII. It has a unique smell to it. I'm guessing its the primer compound used. I don't think their HV 22 is up to CCI Minimag standards, but it isn't to far off. The used to manufacture Eley Sport at their factory and it also shot quite well for the price.
