I have been hole up at my house with the wife kids AND my inlaws for the last week solid. My wifes grandmother was here for a few days of it as well. I love them and they are good people and welcome and i'd never run them out but holy F*#@(#&$&&$*#&^&@^@!%*# im ready to be back to normal in my own home!

My in laws are huge democrats and a total pain in the arse. They left yesterday and the door almost hit them on the way out. I lost a lot of respect for them over the last few days and I will go out of my way to limit talking to them at a very minimum. Next time they can freeze.

yep.........we have a rule that any visit is just for the day. No sleepovers. They have hotels for that chit

Thank the Lord the wife was asked to come into work and said I had to drive her, they are watching the kids, it is a monumental break for the day lol. Yesterday I needed a second of quiet, i sat down in a lawn chair in gym shorts and a t-shirt in the falling snow and swear in the peace and quiet I almost fell asleep.

When i took the wife in to the plant at rittamin it was all clear except the corner in the shade turning from I35 N access road on to rittamin.

I'm on vacation, but I did volunteer to throw milk, and eggs at our local store. The wife and I cleared out that cooler. The only thing left was coffee creamer..... it was crazy.

I havent heard much she's been busy, but think the boil notice is a bigger issue at this point than the pressure.

I’ll trade you for the 15 people I’ve had here, LOL. I am enjoying my oldest Son/wife/grandson being here though. In-laws? No way. I evacuated from a hurricane once with my ex in-laws. Ended up getting flooded in and stuck in the same house with that whole dysfunctional family for 4 days. I will never, ever, ever, do something like that again.

At least we have been eating good. Jalapeno cheese smoked sausage, chicken fried backstrap last night breafast tacos every morning.... i think i put on a few pounds lol.

Heck yeh! Same here on the food lol. Deer chili, deer stew, smoked sausage skillet, chicken & dumplings last night, beef & pork ribs tomorrow with all the homemade sides...and the barbacoa for today’s lunch is almost done. No tortillas anywhere in S Texas, so about to make some more homemade. Gotta keep the moral up.
