They are spooky, and won't come to the feeder where the birds go. I sucker in and make a path out, sweep off their rock by the tree, and feed them a couple times a week. They are happy campers!!!

Ate many a tree rat, when I was growing up. Not too bad, and still enjoy some every once in a while. My friend down in Texas - hell, he'd rather eat squirrels than deer!!

Forget the naysayers. Cool.

Most people spend their entire lives trying to keep squirrels OUT of their bird feeders. That may be the only one on the planet that won't attack a bird feeder.

Talk about hunting withdrawal. My partner used to shoot every squirrel and collared dove he saw in his yard, and never even made a dent in them. His wife talked him into buying a brand new house in a new subdivision, and there's not a tree or bush anywhere. He hasn't seen an animal in the yard for 12 months!!! Talk about bored now!!

I do both. I feed them, lull them into a sense of false confidence, then they feed me...
