Looking for a new binocular harness and wondering what the brain here recommends. I usually do a fair amount of riding in the sxs and a lot of time on foot walking and hiking. Currently have a cabelas brand harness that is fraying and almost ready to retire. Have one that you’d recommend and wouldn’t do without?

I'm a fan of the harness/pouch myself. That way I have something to keep the weather and dust off of them. Right now I'm using a Mystery Ranch harness/pouch and I'm not looking to replace what I've got this off season.

I have a Vortex harness that worked pretty well before but the dust on the binos was more than I could take smile

For UTV you will need an enclosed one. Rick James would not stop the dust

These all have enclosed models
AGC
Marsupial gear
Kuiu
sitka
Badlands.

I got a Badlands magnetic enclosure and really like it for sxs riding and keeping dust off. Also used it on a recent late season elk hunt and came in handy with keeping snow off and range finder on retractable line in it. Otherwise, I agree Rick Young

I have the new stone glacier harness, used the Alaska guide creations last year and it was ok.

I like my AGC fine but going to also try a Marsupial since I have heard such good things.
I use the Rick Young one hunting the farm in east TX. Just too dang handy.

AGC's are nice if you aren't bow hunting, they stick out off your chest with how the pockets are setup. I used one for 5 years and upgraded to the Muley Freak Traverse 2.0 this past fall. I am liking it.

That’s why I switched to the stone glacier, didn’t work as good for the range finder.

Not sure if you needed it to also carry pistol but they have both styles

To me Outdoor Vision was the best. Has the best features of most and thin enough to still Bowhunter with. I’ve run it several years now from Texas to Alaska and in between and been very happy

Fhf gear is supposed to be top notch as well, just depends on what type of hunting you do.

KUIU for simplicity and size...

Started with one, went through all the others (Marsupial, AGC, MR, FHF, SG, etc) and came back full circle to the KUIU. It’s svelte but I don’t care to haul a suitcase on my chest with 17 gadgets and a pistola attached.

Stone Glacier Skyline is what I went with. Checked all of my boxes - fully enclosed, forward opening, no magnets, compact. Wore on one hunt so far, about 20 miles. Stayed put, comfortable. If I hadn't found that I guess I would have gone with the Kuiu Pro.
