Maybe a dumb question, but what happens if demand exceeds supply? Would they do rolling outages like they’ve been doing with electricity? Maybe it’s a dumb question.

Here in the north they have large compressed gas storage facilities to even things out. There is the occasional problem of, excessive growth and inadequate feeder size, but there is always gas. Utilities needing to replenish their storage will spike the spot markets. I just don't know what kind of storage infrastructure you have. I've heard of problems with gas distribution because of controls freezing.
for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

And to think they say they are producing so much they damn near have to give it away! They are, issue is we have diverted infrastructure to wind and solar instead of making NG infrastructure more robust with a greater supply ability. Logically that would mean a Bottle neck from field to plant

Just saw on Fox business. That it is trading at 3.15.

My Wife has a couple of wells in Dawson Co. No one wants her NG anymore. Used to get a 2-300$ check each month. I guess it does not produce enough to bother with anymore.

MO We’ve always had NG appliances in our homes. When electricity is out, you can still cook until NG runs out or stations freeze.

Just saw on Fox business. That it is trading at 3.15. It traded at 5 times that much back in the early 2000's.
