I have decided to breed Missy and Buster. She is coming in heat right now.

Buster is all clear on all genetic tests.

Missy is a carrier for Progressive Retinal Atrophy - crd4/cord1 RPGRIP1 (Exon 2).
That means 50% of the puppies could be carriers also. They will not have the disease at all. The only time it would matter is if you were breeding. You can't breed a carrier to a carrier or the puppies would be at risk of having PRA. If you breed a carrier like Missy to a clear dog like Buster only 50% of the puppies have a chance of being a carrier. None will actually have the disease.

Please PM me your thoughts or if you are interested, call me 94o-399-9o35 . Looks like they would be born around Valentines if they get bred this coming week.

Here's their pics and pedigrees below. Thinking $800 - $1,000 pup depending on color and sex.

Yes it happened and she looks to be showing. Should be around Valentines day when they are born.

At 6 this morning she had 1 dead pup. Nothing since. I think she is done. Not stressed at all and eating and drinking.

Pup was a male marked and colored just like Buster. He came out breach and got stuck for less than a minute. Think he was already dead. Bummer

She wound up having 2 dead pups. The last one was a liver male like her and was 17 hours apart from the first one. I suspect both died in the birth canal. Fully developed pups. Inexperienced mom. I was right there but could not save them. I knew it would be a small litter but never thought I would wind up with zero.

I'm probably going to have her spayed. Let me know if you get serious and I'll find you a good litter here in Texas.
