4° here but not much snow. If it's going to be this cold I wish there was at least 6" of snow outside

Alright dammit. Chardonnay. That's right. I'll own it. It's "Chardonnay Sunday!" But I've been slipping and sliding for days, stone..dam...sober. Although, "grog" sounds better. I'm goin' with Sniper's story.

Yes it is and we're liking it.

When I was born my dad was stationed in Cheyenne. My mother cursed that flat windy cold place till the day she died.

cheers I went out at 6 tonight to turn off the well and drain the line into the barn. When I went out earlier the rain on the concrete was not frozen at 4 this afternoon but it was at 6 it was frozen...luckily I had the pumphouse to grab onto as my feet started to go out from under me. All the fences, grass, brush and trees are coated with about 1/4" of ice now. The Live Oaks starting to look like Willow Trees. We are not used to being this cold for this long down here. Been 32 or lower for over 48 hrs straight now. This morning it was 29 at daylight but made it to 31 by noon....then wind picked up and misty/drizzle started again with temps slowly dropping. 25 now and heading down to 16 in the morning...the supposed to get to 10 the next morning. Have not seen this many days in a row below freezing this far south of SA in a quite a while.

1 degree and no power. Still 60 in the house. Propane heater going on the cave and the heater from the deer stand going on the water pumps. Build a fire for the bride. And boil some coffee the old fashioned way any youngsters remember how?

Coldest temp I have had since I bought my place 9 yrs ago. Previous low was 17 one morning about 3 or 4 yrs ago now. Did have a little sleet after 8pm last night but no snow. About 1/4" of ice on everything though.

Currently 1 degree at 8;35. Wife says it was 0 when she got up. Maybe 5" snow. No power lost but the wood stove is working hard. The front yard is pristine but the back yard is a mess where the deer came up looking for the corn I threw out for them. Threw out a bunch of bread and cracker crumbs under the car port and the birds seem happy enough. All is well....just a serious case of cabin fever.
