"They are illegal to shoot. They are considered a song bird. The only thing you can legally kill in Texas other than game birds are crows, grackels and english sparrows and a few other exotics such as the Eurasian ringed neck dove" DILLIGAF If they show up again, I may send my kids out to shoot a bunch just so we can cook them up & eat them together. I might even help them. Next thing you know, everything is gonna be against the law. I careft not.

Had a few robins here last week, didn't hang around more than 3-4 days, but long enough to notice them

I mentioned this to my family last Saturday. I remember in the late 70's through the 80's we would get big flocks around Houston. They loved the hackberry trees. My neighbor would give us a nickle a piece. They would make them like arroz con pollo.

Those bastards pretty much repaint my truck every night!!! I have to hose it off before I head to work in the mornings. Doesn't matter where I park!!
