Couple of neighbors have lost it (we are on Co-op)I am lucky right now. My brother lives in Temple lost it and said it would be 12;30 .

Saw some news clips about ice on power lines west of here. Kind of expect quite a few of the rural area to lose power before this is over.

Wife said our lights have been flickering and we have a couple large limbs down but so far power is still on...

My family likes it cold so the heater was set at 62. Sure didn’t take long for that to drop! My 75yo FIL lives in an apartment out back. His place got cold quick so I brought him into the house. He’s bundled up on the couch chomping at the bit to go back to his place. He’s a heavy smoker and isn’t allowed to in my house so he’s going stir crazy.

Power still out. Going on 12 hours. Temp is 25 with 12 degree windchill. Idk how cold it is in my house but it’s pretty cold. Time to go to work!

Since most of Frisco is new and built on farmlands, the telepohone poles on the main streets are very high and have no surrounding trees around them. When Frisco was built the city took steps to assure the infrastructure of the city was designed correctly. Just look at the large streets we have here, with very high speed limits and dedicated right turn lanes at many major and even minor intersections and subdivision entrances it shows you have forward thinking the City of Frisco is.
